Police and Tourist Police

The police and tourist police on Koh Mak are dedicated to ensuring the safety and security of both locals and visitors. Immigration Trat, Laem Ngop

Laemngob is a district in Trat province, Thailand, where the main immigration office for Trat is located. If you are a foreigner who wishes to enter or stay in Thailand, you may need to obtain a visa or extend your visa at the immigration office, depending on your nationality and purpose of visit. The immigration office in Laemngob can perform various tasks for tourists and expats, such as:

Extension of a tourist visa
- You will need your passport
- 1,900 Baht
- 1 application form
- 1 passport photo
- photocopies of your passport pages and departure card

90 day reporting
If you have a non-immigrant visa, you need to report your place of residence every 90 days. You can do this at the office on Koh Chang, or online. You will need your:
- passport
- 1 application form
- and photocopies of your passport pages
- departure card
- proof of address

TM30 reporting
This is a requirement for the owner or landlord of the place where you are staying to report your arrival within 24 hours. This can be done in person at the immigration office, or online, or through a smartphone app. You may need to show proof of having been registered for TM30 when you do other immigration tasks.

The immigration office in Laemngob is open from Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a lunch break from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. It is in the center of Laemngob village, 100 meters from the pier. You can take a songtaew from Trat bus station or one of the ferry piers to Laemngob

A public facility that is located on the road leading down to Ao Nid Pier.

- Able to handle minor problems, such as cuts, infections, allergies, etc.
- Equipped with some basic medicines, bandages, and a small laboratory.

Connected to an emergency hotline (1669) and a rescue team (087 905 5886) in case of serious cases that require transfer to the mainland.
